Join professional photographer Jason P. Odell (http://www.luminescentphoto.com) for an overnight instructional workshop in Joshua Tree National Park, where you'll photograph the desert landscapes, wildflowers, and of course the iconic Joshua trees. This workshop is intended for photographers of all levels.

On this workshop, we'll explore the fundamentals of dynamic landscape photography and have the opportunity to learn new techniques, including HDR, infrared, and long exposure photography. Joshua Tree is the perfect setting to explore the unique landscape of California's Mojave Desert.

This is an extremely small group; limited to 8 photographers who wish to get personalized instruction.

Itinerary

• Saturday, April 16th
Arrive by 3pm for orientation. We will then go into the park to photograph landscapes at sunset and stay for twilight/blue hour to photograph silhouettes of the Joshua trees and the night sky.

• Sunday, April 17th
We will go into the park to photograph sunrise. After our shooting session, we'll return to the group hotel where I will teach you the necessary techniques to finish and process your images to make them look their best using Lightroom and Photoshop plug-ins.

The workshop will conclude by 3pm on Sunday, April 17th

What's Included
The workshop fee of $499 includes:

• Hands-on field and classroom (image processing) instruction and image review with Jason Odell

• Single-occupancy lodging at the group hotel in nearby Yucca Valley (about 20 minutes from the park entrance). Meals are not included.
