Eastern Colorado with The Image Doctors

Join The Image Doctors (http://www.theimagedoctors.com/) , Jason Odell & Rick Walker for a two day photo shoot in eastern Colorado. This is an untraditional, but exciting photographic location that will appeal to photographers wanting to stretch their vision, create unique images and find the details that make for great photographs. Color, black and white and high dynamic range (HDR) photography all work well here!

Dates: Saturday, September 10 - Sunday, September 11, 2011
Tuition: $199.99 per person
Location: Limon, Colorado and surrounding area

This is a photographically-rich shooting environment, with opportunities to photograph gentle landscapes, small towns, and many fascinating details. Participation is limited to 12 photographers so that you will get maximum instruction time from the both of us. We'll cover ideas for compositions, techniques, and post-processing approaches that are tailored to the subjects we'll see. This workshop is open to photographers of all levels, although it's best to be familiar with the basics of photography and how to use your camera.

Tentative Itinerary

Saturday, September 10: Orientation session at 2pm in hotel lobby followed by afternoon and early evening shooting in golden light. Group dinner and discussion of shoot (optional) afterwards. Sunday, September 11: Morning photography on the plains followed by photography at a local historical area (great for black and white and HDR photography). We'll then wrap up with more discussion regarding images from the trip.

Other information The tuition for this workshop covers instruction only. There are several local hotels that are convenient, including the Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn and Econo Lodge, all in Limon. While we'll be meeting at the Holiday Inn Express, all are nearby and attendees may stay at the hotel of their choice. Transportation to the field locations is the responsibility of the participants; we'll work with the group to arrange carpools as much as possible.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Tuition payments are fully refundable in the event we cancel this workshop. Cancellations before August 20, 2011 will be refunded less a 10% processing fee. Cancellations after August 20, 2011 are non-refundable, unless we are able to back-fill your slot.
