Who should attend?
This photo safari is open to photographers of all levels. Beginners are welcome! You should, however, have a basic understanding of your camera system.
Health Advisory
Because this workshop will be conducted at high altitudes (9,000' and higher), participants should take caution if they have any known health conditions that would preclude them from going to such elevations. We will not be making long hikes, however you will need to transport your gear up to 1/2 mile (over relatively level paths) in some spots.
Software Training and Image Critique
Each day, we'll have time to download and process our images. I'll guide you through the software techniques I use including color, black & white, and High Dynamic Range Photography. I'll also demonstrate RAW processing and workflow techniques.

Jason's passion for photography started at a young age when his parents built a darkroom in their garage.
Jason is probably best-known for his comprehensive imaging software guides (http://www.luminescentphoto.com/webstore/index.html), which he started publishing in 2006 at Luminescence of Nature Press. Jason's guides have taught thousands of photographers how to tackle software like Nikon's Capture NX2 and Nik Software's HDR Efex Pro 2. Jason's ability to present technical material clearly, without losing focus of the creative process is why his books and workshops are extremely popular with hobbyists and enthusiasts world-wide.
