Visa has come to Austin! Our new Digital Wallet division, called V.me, is at the cutting-edge of mobile and virtual payments, and we are building a new technology hub in Research Park in NW Austin.

We are looking for Senior Web/UI Developers to join our UI team which is designing and developing responsive sites for mobile and tablet devices, and building the future of our web/UI standards. The environment is Javascript, CSS3, and HTML5. Ruby is a plus. This is a huge undertaking, as we are completely overhauling the look and feel of our sites, and changing the way that people see us. You also have the chance to get in on the ground-floor in Austin and really make your mark with plenty of growth opportunity.

Attributes:

• Expert level knowledge of HTML/CSS -You should be able to develop the presentation tier for high traffic, consumer facing applications, while thinking about site speed, user experience, product strategy, and how can we improve what we are building.
• Understand the core of how browsers render HTML for you to be able to quickly pick up how to develop web applications on the mobile and tablet.
• Expert level knowledge of OO JavaScript
• Experience with JSON and JavaScript frameworks are a plus.
• Able to build large JavaScript application that takes into account site speed, Ajax calls, lazy loading, with deep knowledge of how the browser calls assets
