Node.js - javascript for your backend

This time, we'll leave the browser land and discuss about node.js, a language to write your servers using javascript.

• Greg will do a first talk to introduce node.js, how it's different from browser's javascript and the mindset to have when developing with node.js

• Next, Jeremy will present loopback, a node.js framework to build an API and more. Node.js by itself is very primitive, so the question "what framework should I use" is almost always asked.

Also, we would like to clarify how we'll handle the rsvp. The room can handle about 40 people, 50 and we'll be very packed. If you click on "rspv - yes", please, show up or cancel your rsvp as soon as possible. Last time, we had quite a few last second cancellation, and some people who wanted to come couldn't.
