Monthly Joomla! Meetup

September Meeting Topic: MicroData in Joomla! 3

Paul Orwig will do a session about what microdata is and how to implement it in Joomla! 3.

Topics and Presenters are needed!

We are looking for presentations and topic ideas for the remaining 2014 meet ups. Presentations do not have to be complicated or take up the entire meeting time, we're just looking for people to share information and experiences with the group.

A few people have expressed interest in presenting but have not confirmed a topic or date. If you would like to volunteer to do a presentation, please let me know what your topic is and which date you would prefer.

=>Please park in front of the Cable Center (facing Buchtel).

=>Then come into the building to get a parking pass.

=>You must return to your car to place the pass on your dashboard.

The parking is free. Sometimes there is an event at the Cable Center that will require us to park in the larger lot to the west, but that is still free, but requires a pass. <=

Important topic clearly explained by Paul and panel. Siskel and Ebert give it two thumbs way up.

Very interesting stuff. As someone who builds simple HTML pages for email marketing, then appends these pages to a web site built on a CMS, I see this as a tool I can use.

Paul did an excellent job presenting on how to use microdata within Joomla. I have a much broader understanding now on how to configure it and what might be coming in future releases. Thank you Paul for your obvious efforts to give such a thorough presentation.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
