ExtJS is having a meetup. I evaluated ExtJS a while ago. the downside to ExtJS is that is it not freeware - you have to pay license fees to use it. The plus side is it is VERY RAD and very client side - a friend of mine made a project GANTT renderer with very little effort (well I am not sure HE would put it that way!) - http://www.ext-schedu... - and it s a very promising system.

ExtJS offers a free version to use on FOSS projects. It is used heavily in the back-end of the TYPO3 CMS.

If anyone wants to do a half-day intro to ExtJS 4 or Sencha Touch there will be some tutorials taught by the ExtJS guys at the TYPO3 conference at the Fort Mason Center on June 7th. There will also be some ExtJS/TYPO3 stuff in the main conference.

It costs $100 for the developer day.
