What is Group Eight?

Group Eight is collective, eight photographers, dedicated to learning, creating, applying, and presenting photographic techniques on the 8th or 17 day of every month. Yes we will meet once a month on the 8th of every month at 7:01pm for 71 minutes.

Why Eight?

The answer is simple the number 8 is a Fibonacci number, and I am a true fan of the Golden Mean as it relates to photographic composition.

Why should I join this group?

You will receive mentoring, constructive feedback, and photographic support for free.

What’s the catch?

You have to attend the meetings on the 8th or the 17th of each month.

What could you possibility teach me in 852 minutes over 12 months?

Vantage Point

I like this idea can I sign up?

Yes!

If you attended any of the “C” classes and finished, mentored with me, or you have an outstanding portfolio. (email me a link or images)

Why should I spend my valuable time with Group 8?

My teaching style is unlike any other program, workshop, or education you will find for a beginner in photography. My strength as a teacher is in my ability to understand your needs and provide a solution and photographic direction.

Requirement for this group?

  • Must own a digital camera and lens (your work is more important than what you own.)
  • Attend monthly meetings

If you're serious about wanting to improve your photography, you need to get into Keith's classes. The information is clear and to the point. The participants are definitely engaged and there is positive interaction that allows for a great learning environment.

There's been an increase in Meetups claiming to teach skills to help people improve, but results matter and you only need look at Keith's students' work to realize there's a vast difference between Keith's instruction and people looking to make a fast buck teaching you something you could have found out using google.

Hello all, I closed the Wait List because the MU is pretty full. Just a reminder "If you attended any of the “C” classes and finished, mentored with me, or you have an outstanding portfolio. (email me a link or images) you will be considered. All of the students in the G8 have attended at least 4 mentoring sessions and some as many as 15 sessions. This guideline is in place to insure the integrity of the participation, work and attendance. My apologies in advance if you were not added. Please consider the LB MU as another option. If you progress in the LB or attend at least 6 MU's I will consider you for the G8.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
