Interested in expanding my level of experience, and like the fact that a professional mentor is available to help with my growth.
I've been shooting off and on for many years with much of my focus over the past few years on the filmmaking side. I started my photography career back in 1973, and life happened, taking me away from the things that I loved with most of my focus on business, family, and making ends meet. I am excited to be finding my way back to the things that I truly love and next to filmmaking, it's photography.
I consider myself to be a hybrid of many different styles. While I lean more between photographic artistry, it is difficult to define myself to any one specific area or type because beauty can be captured photographically in so many different ways. I continue to evolve and grow, and the more I look at the world, the more I see things that I could photograph, and the harder it becomes to not pull out my camera and start shooting. I was at breakfast one morning and found myself spending 15 minutes capturing the shadows and reflections cast off the silverware on the table. Once you start looking at life through a lens, everything, if visited from the right angle is photographable.
Hello, I'm Jacalyn Evone. I started free lance photography back in 1973, but over the past years I've been working mostly in the area of filmmaking and local tv production. I am excited to challenge myself creatively through the lens of a camera.
Group organizer, Keith Dixon is very knowledgeable in the field of photography and is an excellent trainer and mentor. Highly suggested for anyone wishing to grow and advance in skill levels.
