At Ladies in Tech (http://ladiesintech.com) we celebrate and support female speakers in technology. We want you to get out there and share your thoughts! We are super excited to announce our first meetup.

Are you looking to speak at a conference? Do you have a great idea on a topic to speak about but not sure what to do with it? We’ll spend the evening exploring how to get from an idea to the conference stage.

We welcome our guest, Sara Wachter-Boettcher (http://sarawb.com/), for the evening. Sara is a content strategist, published author, and international speaker. She’ll join us for the evening to tell us about how she turned her ideas into talks and then we’ll work with you to do the same!!

All you need is an idea for a talk. A partial idea, a finished idea, a medium idea, any kind of idea. Bring it and yourself and through a series of conversations, q+ a, and exercises we’ll work together to help flesh out your idea, talk about how to make an abstract, and share tips on finding conferences to submit to.
