Each session will be 2 hours long, and a CELTA qualified ESL teacher will be present to help with any doubts or questions regarding the use of English.  Feel free to bring along topic ideas to discuss, examples of difficult language, odd things you've heard or read, or suggestions for future sessions.  Oh, and if you need some support, bring a friend or two.

The first 30 to 45 minutes will be a focused lesson (content of this element is determined by regularly attending members), followed by just over an hour of conversation to help build your confidence.  If you're up for a challenge, have a go at speaking for 5 minutes on a topic of your choice, but be aware, the other members will be ready with lots of interesting questions.  Due to the informal nature of the sessions, requests for grammar or pronunciation help can be made either as one-to-ones or as a group. 

Our members are considered to be Intermediate level and above. (NQF level 3 or above; CEFr B2 or above; FCE or above; IELTS 5.5 or above)

There will be a small fee for each session to help cover costs.

There are also drinks and snacks available for purchase from Sutherlands Restaurant and Bar at the Argyll Hotel, Glasgow.
