What can you learn in a Summer? by Jen Diamond
You can learn a lot in a Summer. Jen Diamond, one of the members of Team Bundler, will give her account of her experience in Rails Girls Summer of Code, a program created to help encourage diversity in programming.
Jen Diamond organizes the Eastside Ruby Study Group for people, especially women, interested in learning Ruby and RoR. This summer she was paid to work on the Bundler gem through the Rails Girls Summer of Code program. She is continuing to learn Ruby & Rails and is currently looking for an apprenticeship.
