OCC + OCC New Cafe + Palisades + Scenic NY State Routes 52 + 55

Enough Misery, Time for some fun...!!

Orange County Choppers + OCC New Cafe + Palisades + SR52 + SR55 while we're up there.

Orange County Choppers is opening a New Cafe or restaurant....

Going to go check out their new cafe. Opens on Oct 19, but don't want to go until the 28th. I think the first weekend will be too busy. Probably a tourist-trap kind of place but we'll see.

I'm not that into OCC's bikes. A couple of the old-school ones maybe but that's about it. Just want to pick up some gear as presents for family and friends overseas.

If the cafe sucks we can hit a Brick-Oven Pizzeria between the Taconic Pkwy and Poughkeepsie.

Two nice roads above OCC are State Route 52 and 55.

State Routes 52 and SR 55 are listed as scenic. (we'll ride only the eastern part of SR 55 unless there is time to do more). They are just above OCC. Ride the Palisades Pkwy and RT 9 to OCC. Going to put up a route map later on. Check back.

Shop-Eat-Browse Bikes - leave 1:30 - 2:00

Take Taconic home.
Back at 5:30 - 6:00 latest
