I needed some time for the shock of it all to wear off... so now... here's a memorial run for a true son.
Nobody gave more than the big Ope. Nobody.
He did 5 years inside for SAMCRO.
got out only to have his wife killed by f'in Clay and Tig.…
while they were trying to kill him.
manages come back from that and f'in Clay kills his old man.
then f'in Tig, like the idiot he is, kills Pope's kid which winds up landing them in jail...
and that's where… well... you know what happened.

Plan:
Ride to Astoria for quick bite. Souvlaki was Opie's favorite.
Then start the city bridge run:

Astoria Park- Hellsgate Br, Triboro Br. (not gonna call it rfk ever),
-
ride riverside to the best view of Manhattan in this city (in LIC)
-
then ride over the 59th St/QB Br, get on the FDR and
-
ride by / under the Manhattan Br, Williamsburg Br, Brooklyn Br,
-
then curl under the city over to the Freedom tower,
-
ride up the West side to 42nd st for a light show and
-
then a small ride thru Central Park and
-
back over the QB Br. and out of the "city" to back home.
