Learn about physical security, locks, and locking mechanisms. This month's topic is disc-detainer locks. Disc-detainer use a series of rotation discs and a key with angled bitting cuts. They are similar in some respects to rotary combination locks but modern versions are extremely sophisticated and provide the basis for some of the best mechanical locks in the world. There will be cutaway locks, disc picks (which are hard to come by in the USA), and some low to medium security disc locks that you can practice picking on. Feel free to bring any interesting disc locks that you have.

We'll also be giving out the prizes to the winner of the points competition: EYES! Congratulations! Anna will also receive a cool prize for coming in a close second. Well played on everyone's part, and thanks to everyone that competed. Make sure to train up for the next competition : )
