Locksport International - Los Angeles, CA Meetup

Learn about physical security, locks, and locking mechanisms. This month's topic is IMPRESSIONING! Learn about how key impressioning works to create a working key for a lock without seeing a working key, without taking the lock apart! This technique has been used by locksmiths, penetration testers, and entry teams for decades as a covert way of creating a working key for a target lock. It takes quite a bit of practice to get good at the technique, but the first step is attending this meeting to learn the principles and get started!

Impressioning tools will be made avaiable to attendees. If you have your own impressioning kit, please bring it! Key blanks will be made available to all attendees, including some partially pinned beginner locks to familiarize yourself with the technique.

Don't miss this hands-on fun!

I was there , came all the way from rural Hemet and met Laurie out by the curb... The gate was closed, She went in the big gate, I couldn't walk that far.

My friends and I are new to lockpicking. Will this meetup fly over our heads?

This won't fly over your head; it's just a different way of opening locks. The info you'll get from this meeting will help you learn a new technique and learn more about the intricacies of mechanical locks. Both will be helpful for improving your ability to pick locks.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
