Internet Society of NY demos anti-censorship software

Details
The Internet Society of New York will sponsor a demonstration of anti-censorship software at NYU.
We are invited to this demonstration by David Solomonoff, President of the Internet Society Of New York (https://isoc-ny.org), who believes that the Internet Society could benefit from a libertarian perspective on Internet policy issues.
The software, called Kaleidoscope, was developed by Jinyang Li, who is on the faculty there. It sets up an anonymous proxy to circumvent Internet censorship and then notifies a trusted network of friends about the proxy's availability. The software is free of charge and open source so people are free to further enhance and redistribute it.
The talk will be on Thursday, March 25 from 7-9pm in room 102 of Warren Weaver Hall, 251 Mercer St. on the NYU campus [map & directions (https://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=251+mercer+street&sll=40.73095,-73.995066&sspn=0.00652,0.013411&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=251+Mercer+St,+New+York,+10012&ll=40.729064,-73.995516&spn=0.006992,0.013411&z=16)]. There is no charge for admission although a photo ID is required to enter the building.
This event gives us an opportunity to start creating a libertarian presence on Internet matters as we have done with eminent domain. I will be there. I particularly recommend that any of you who are Internet professionals or who have Internet expertise attend this event and network.
