I couldn't even read this. What does Harvard have to do with Compter Science? Or CS standards? Or really any standards in my world?

Linux is unix and unix is a product of UC-Berkeley.

Ranked Number one for Computer Science is MIT.

Competing annually for number two is Stanford and UC-Berkeley, my alma matter.

And by the way, this UC-Berkeley graduate moron prefers IE, except ClearAuthenicationCache, over Firefox. It is so much easier for me to design html and css div style in IE. Firefox takes a hell of a lot of tweeks. Div containers. What's up with that?

I also like linux/unix.

Subject: [linux-392] this is crap. This is not windows and it shouldn't imitate windows in ANY WAY.

Most average windows users are, well morons who think that because they are familiar with using an interface they think they understand computing. If people do not want to make an effort to learn then no one should have to dumb themselves down to make them feel comfortable. If you go to a quality college and you don't understand or can't rise up to the challenge you drop out. No one would ever expect that Harvard lowers their standard. But since Linux is "NOT" microsoft and is seen by many as an upstart or wanna be (linux' roots go farther back than M$) then they think that Linux has to bend to them. No, No, No. It's up to the programmers and documentation writers to provide proper abstraction of the underlying structures ( maybe this may help them: http://en.wikiped...) and for the document writers to understand how different groups of people perceive and comprehend information and write accordingly. I just needed to get
 this off my chest.
