April Austin Linux Meetup
Hosted by The Austin Linux Meetup
Details
Charles Wyble will discuss the Free Network Foundation (FNF)- building a secure, anonymous, authenticated next generation network.
The Free Network Foundation was founded in early 2011 to serve a similar role to the Free Software Foundation. Instead of software, they are focusing on building a "free as in freedom" network. They have produced a system called the FreedomTower and deployed provisional models in Austin TX and Manhattan NY.
Charles Wyble is the co founder and CTO of FNF and will be speaking on the history of FNF, what it's accomplished so far and what it's looking to accomplish in the next several months.
