Las Virgenes Adventure Hike (and Cheeseboro Too)

Details
Las Virgenes Canyon like you have never seen it beforehttp://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/c/f/1/c/global_14453020.jpeg (http://photos4.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/c/f/1/c/highres_14453020.jpeg) This adventure hike arose from an exploratory I did a few months back. It will include a cross-country hike over the western ridge of Upper Las Virgenes Canyon and to the Baleen Wall. Much of the remainder of the hike will be on unmanaged and use trails.
This is a strenuous hike and will go for about 8-10 miles.
Back Story
While pouring over some old topo maps of the Upper Las Virgenes area I noticed a couple of "unpaved roads" that I have never seen while hiking. I loaded the road into my GPS and went to the location in search of these roads. When I arrived at the site, there was no sign of any road. Not ready to give up, I proceeded to walk the same path as if the road was there. Later, just when I thought I was on a wild goose-chase, I came across some artifacts (see picture above) that confirmed the topo data (and the accuracy of my orienteering!).
Bring plenty of water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, your best hiking boots and long pants.
