I'm feeling a little lazy so let's toss the itinerary and go on a serendipitous hike up and around Rustic Canyon and Sullivan Ridge.
Our hike will begin on Sullivan Ridge descend into Rustic Canyon, swing back up to Sullivan Ridge, down to Sullivan Canyon and back up to the ridge and cars. How we do that exactly will be determined as we go.

Hike will be 9 +/- miles with some hefty elevation gain/loss. Sorry, no beginners.
Directions to Meeting Spot
From Sunset Boulevard, 3 miles west of the 405, turn north at the light onto Capri Drive. After 1/3 mile continue through the traffic circle, remaining on Capri Drive for another 1/3 mile until it comes to an end at Casale Road. Sullivan Ridge Fire road begins to the left but do not turn left on Casale Rd. Find street parking to the right or on an adjacent roads. After you park, walk to the corner of Casale and Capri.
