Will Rogers Exploratory

This will be an exploratory hike with some possible bushwhacking and crawling on hands and knees.

Back in 2008 I heard there was a trail that lead from near the man-made dam in lower Rustic Canyon to the backbone trail. I never followed up on it completely but I believe I know where it is.

Our mission on this hike is to locate that trail and uncover another link between Rustic Canyon and the Backbone Trail. Or maybe this has already been done?

As someone once said: "I never met a trail I dident like."

I am restricting the Going list to those that have done exploratory and/or cross-country and/or adventure hikes with me (or other Organizers) in the past.

Finding the trailhead without written instructions here is a prerequisite for attending :P
