I should mention now before going any further, this is not a beginner hike, although you’re welcome to try. This is a canyon hike involving some rock traversing, in some places vertical, but only for about 8 feet, all with deep water protection, so some moderate climbing and bouldering skills is preferred

This hike is a loupe in the shape of horseshoe-lots of water, high scrambling, class 2 & 3 and rock hopping, and is quite challenging in some areas. It is also very beautiful, with large deep swimming pools, rushing streams and small waterfalls Pictures of the area can be seen on my photos (1 thru 3) and (21 thru 30)
The hike ends at Century Lake and re-connects with Crags Rd. I suggest no tennis shoes and at least 2 liters of water, daypack, and experienced with rocky terrain and canyons. I have been doing this hike for over 20 years and I can help anyone willing to try it, succeed. I've lead numerous climbers and hikers through this area and other small meetup groups-it's amazing.
