Towsley Canyon Adventure Hike (Dogs OK)

The standard Towsley hike is a moderate-to-slightly strenuous 6.5 mile hike through an astonishing variety of habitat types. Highlights include Towsley Creek, and spectacular water-worn rock formations in Towsley Gorge, as well as scenic trail viewpoints and oak woodlands, oils ponds and bubbling sulphur.

Along the way we will turn off-trail and extend the loop a couple miles. This will be an exploratory segment. I'll post a trail map in a couple days

Dogs will be allowed on this one but they must be able to ruff it.

Directions: Take the Calgrove exit from the Golden State Freeway (Interstate 5). Turn west and take The Old Road south for about 100 yards, turn right into gate. Park in first lot on right.
