Betamax (Rob Fletcher)

Betamax aims to provide a simple solution to testing code that relies on external HTTP resources such as web services. It allows you to 'record' the responses from real endpoints and then play them back. You can edit recorded responses by hand and easily provide different responses for different tests.

This talk will show you how to use Betamax to make tests for your HTTP dependent code simple, robust & repeatable.

Grails Plugins - Lessons to learn (Peter Ledbrook)

The Grails plugin system has been hugely successful and with that success has come a body of experience on what pitfalls and problems await a plugin developer.
