Techmeetups.com launched the London Silicon Roundabout meetup group in Dec 2010 and since this has become the fastest growing group in this part of London. 

We started this group in order to bring together startups, entrepreneurs, investors, techies and webbies in and around London's Silicon Roundabout.

Anyone who is thinking about starting their own software or web company and wants to bounce ideas off each other and meet potential partners or investors are welcome to join this group!

 

We are passionate about Startups & feel that Startups need all the help they can get. To help   Startups further we launched the TechStartHub website and organise the regular  Startup    Mentoring Program and listen to ideas, help with business advice and if required provide intensive hands on mentoring.

This would help Startups position themselves better in the market and be more investment ready in front of our Investment Panel on Investor day. Another Startup event called ' Big Business meets Startup' has been planned to bridge the gap with the Business community as we feel both groups could learn and benefit from each other.

 

We have also launched TechStartupJobs to help address the acute talent shortage Startups face. Please visit us at TechStartupJobs if you would like to post your latest job openings or browse through some of the hottest Startup jobs from the area.

We also work with local universities to help bridge the gap between the local talent and the increasing number of open Tech jobs in the area.

 

Our plan is to setup groups in other cities having a similar tech cluster.

The first group after London has been New York and you can connect with the New York Silicon Alley if you would like to network in that region.
