I've just decided that using C#/.NET4 with all the add-ons to 'ease' development, and in the right environment 'to facilitate team development' implicitly says that C#/.NET needs too much to support it to allow work to 'flow'. To try something new; I've take time out to work with F# and understand functional programming. Reworking some of my past analytics library work into a more up-to date solution, now also built in F#...
I've been developing software since my ZX80. I'm not a guru, but looking to apply technology. What I get most from IT now is delivery; putting the biggest bang on the desk for the smallest effort and to keep evolving that.
Good bunch of guys, know their stuff; happy to share it, but also looking to move things forward; how do you actually 'do IT better'.. more bang for the buck / hour.
