Hi All

This event might be of interest to some

The Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale, 20 to 28 April 2013, gives us an excuse to hold a cakefest on

Sun 21 April 2013

Time: 2-5pm

Where: the Holly Lodge Community Centre,
30 Makepeace Ave, N6 6HL (Bus route 214)

Generously hosted by Transition Dartmouth Park's 'Making Group'

Everyone welcome

So... what's it all about?

Just to prove that food can be fun and delicious AND ethical, we're encouraging everyone to get some UK-grown, organic and/or fairtrade ingredients and whip up a vegan treat to share with us.
If the idea totally flummoxes you, then that's even more reason to come along, because we'll have some demos:

easy vegan baking making vegan custard without the use of tetrapaks

simple fruit and nut treats any more suggestions?

We'll collect some voluntary donations to go to the community centre and to charity. But it's not about the money. The idea is to have fun and celebrate the utterly unhealthy and decadent side of veganism. (Obviously you can bring a healthy option if you want - as long as it tastes good...

Look forward to seeing you on the day.
