Hi London Web,
As some of you know, I worked in the development team at eBay up to late 2008, and so I've been looking forward to setting this meetup in place for quite some time.
This month, we have the privilege of hearing one of the early UK founders of a real high growth startup - Tim Jackson from the original eBay before eBay - QXL.com. Tim has real insight into the world of eCommerce through his VC and early Internet connections. More info on Tim Jackson can be found here!
Also, one of the UK's top eBay and Amazon sellers, John Pemberton, who often consults to eBay and helped with the new clothing sizes initiatives. John will share insight into setting up shop with these platforms. John transacts a large quantity of sales, with his best sellers including Doc Martin Boots. He has a particular expertise in international trading on eBay and Amazon.
RSVP Here - a waiting list is also available when places run out. The last places will open at midday on Monday.
Thursday, November 17, 2011, 7:30 PM
97 Great Russell Street, London, WC1B 3LB - closest underground: Tottenham Court Road.
