There are lot of tweaks to optimize the performance of your Drupal site - but not all are good. We need to find those alternatives that will lead us to better optimization of drupal sites. Cache, yes, it is a way to optimize the website through different means but some more add-ons and tips can increase and tune up your website with no hassle free processes to undertake.

I saw a similar article on the cloud website recently which i believe might help you in doing some excellent work on drupal platform.

I don't think this group is for me after all. I'm not a coder and my use of Drupal is not as fine-grained as all that. I don't have control over the server and work with low-cost hosts and charity websites as a volunteer.

Thank you, that's good feedback. I probably should have noted in the event description that this would be an advanced talk. As Khalid noted, for the majority of sites Drupal works fine out of the box. Sorry to lose you as a member.

    Thank you Khalid!

The presentation was very thorough, and yes it was advanced, maybe I should have noted in that in the event description.

Khalid posted the slides on his site:

Great! I'm not sure how, but I think I took more notes than I did at DrupalCamp TO.
