If you're done with * all * politicians, and already have moved beyond
nationalism, check out the following * leftist * discussions taking place around the issue of 9/11 truth. My own contributions are there, too. Beware of conspiracy theory sites http://www.revleft.co... 9/11 Conspiracy Theories http://www.revleft.co... I wrote a review of 'Zeitgeist', which is here:
"Zeitgeist": Not a sign of the times, but a definite must-see documentary nonetheless http://www.revleft.co... The point of being on the revolutionary left is to empower the world's working class. Class is the fundamental division in society, because the ownership does not want to pay out what the workers deserve -- and that's no matter where you are on the globe. Here's one more link, if you like: it's a one-page diagram I made that illustrates my point: Labor & Capital, Wages & Dividends http://tinyurl.com/6b... Take care, glad to see anyone who's out there for 9-11 Truth. Chris |

So, you want a revolution?
I am all for a fight club sort of revolution, minus the blowing up of buildings, (empty or not). I just cannot come from the Left, on this. I am now an Alex Jones fan. I watched EndGame in its entirety last night. It was riveting. I want us to move closer to what our Founding Father's wanted, not away from. Plus, communism and socialism? Come on...do they ever solve anything? Destroy the N.W.O., not the U.S. |

Chris, I've read many of your posts in those discussions, I'm grateful that you are there defending 9/11 Truth within those forums.
I'm finding it more and more interesting as to one comment you made to me several weeks ago at a LL meeting. You mentioned that perhaps one reason why the Left, in general, has been adverse to the 9/11 Truth Movement is because of it's apparent initial steering and support by Libertarians. I'm also finding it somewhat interesting that many Libertarians, within this group for instance, or so opposed to socialism, yet they truly don't understand some basic tenets or principles of socialism. Mike, in the interest of discussion, perhaps you'd like to elaborate on what is it that frightens you about socialism.. Edited by User 3,934,712 on Jul 13, 2008 11:46 PM |

Mike, all,
Politics is rarely *personal* -- I don't participate in politics, and political discussions, out of a desire for personal gratification or future personal gain. I say this in order to say that it's not about what *I* want -- the fact of the matter is that a revolution is *needed* by everyone who must work for a living. This is because the full value of workers' labor is never fully compensated. (Please see the diagram, at the link above.) Besides the rip-off by the hour, we have a system of oppression that includes the racist courts, police, lawmakers, employers, landlords, etc. Is this good-enough reason for a working class revolution, Mike? Really, you're slandering the whole idea of revolution by bringing up the 'Fight Club' idea. A true revolution is about kicking out the bosses so that the factories and machinery can be controlled by the workers themselves -- nothing needs to be destroyed. The "NWO" doesn't exist, because the ruling class (of capitalism) is not monolithic. Large owners of capital are constantly in disagreements with each other, over whether to raise or lower the prime interest rate, whether or not to go to war, and so on. Right now the ruling class opinion is severely splintering in the face of the ongoing financial implosion, and the crisis of national sovereignty. The Founding Fathers had it easy, because they only had to kick out the British -- today we have to kick out all of the nations in order to organize a socialist workers' state, *worldwide*, which paves the way to communism. Hope this clears some things up for you, Mike. Thanks, Rich. Chris |

I would suggest that the NWO does exist, moreover as 'powers that be' ideology among global elitists. Bush I referred to the NWO several times during his presidency.

Where to begin?
Aren't more than half of employed Americans workers for small businesses? The idea to me of a worker's revolution is absurd. If I start a small business and hire 10 workers then what? I should be tossed and have the workers take over my business? Workers generally do specific tasks, though, not all the time. Where's the ingenuity and innovation come from? So, Socialism is generally an economic system, while Communism is more of a political system. At least from what I have read. The U.S. is a mixed economic system. Sure there are some level of Capitalism involved, but there are also regulations/restrictions on capitalism, as well. I have no problem with a mixed-economic system. The problem is, humanity is weak and corruptible. GOV and lobbyists/corporations are in bed together. However, the idea that GOV should run the economy, or even half of it is absurd, too. Some areas are better left to the private sector. Others are better left to the public sector: Military, Policing, Fire, Infrastructure, etc. I am not a big fan of high taxation. Anything over 20% is ludicrous. GOV should stick to what it does best, and is in the main interest of all citizens: national defense, infrastructure, public works (fire, police, etc). Having an expensive national healthcare system and national welfare system is unacceptable. Even school system, too. Keep the taxes low, the spending low, and let the private sector with fair competition do its job. Unfortunately, both parties want to spend, spend, spend. The NWO does exist. If 9/11 was an inside job, who do you think was responsible if not them? Alex Jones might seem to go to far, but, I don't believe he is a complete nut. Just my opinion. --Mike-- |
