Meet book lovers like yourself in a Longmont's local Meetup Book Club! The Longmont Book Club meets the first, third, and fourth Saturday of the month exclusively at Border's Book Store. Books that are recognized in some way as best selling fiction or authors, award winning or for some reason a great book, we'll read a different book each month that was chosen by a book club member! Paperback or hardcover, ficton or nonfiction we've learned that by having members select our reading list we discover books and authors that might have forever been ignored. Come to laugh, share stories and make new friends! And look for us in the Biography section!

Alan and I have had some debate about what his choice was for November - I hope I got it right. Catch 22 is a great choice regardless. Many of you may have read it - or not. Catch 22 is a satirical, novel by the American Author Joseph Heller, first published in 1961. The novel, set in the later stages of WWII from 1943 onwards is frequently cited as on of the great literary works of the twentieth century. Read more
