Meet other local people interested in the Semantic Web, an initiative by the W3C [http://www.w3c.org] to make the web "one giant database": The Data Web. We address technologies such as RDF, RDFS, OWL, and applications that help to develop or that use ontologies, controlled vocabularies and rules systems in the enterprise and on the World Wide Web.

What members are saying

It's both educational and inspirational to learn from some of the top semantic web experts and influencers.

The meetups are really a great format between people who are curious about SemWeb and those who are willing to share information. You can't be too dumb or too smart for this group!

“I've been interested in the semantic web for a while. About a year ago I started a project called "Semantalyzr" (which is now Ask Jot). It is a semantic web page analysis service using the OpenCalais API and others.”
