Experience with Redhat Linux / Unix administration and Unix Scripting
Strong PERL Scripting skills
Experience with Software Distribution, Code Packaging, Compression
Experience with Apache Tomcat / IIS Server Configuration
Experience working in a large I/T organization and server farm environment
Work with release managers on scheduling, deployment and configuration of software for releases for a given lines
Create and maintain repeatable and reproducible deployments and build archives for a release candidate
Aid in the configuration of servers and file shares to aide the movement of release SDLC
Facilitate the movement of non-release SCM requests in timely fashion and with auditable results
Create and maintain release tracking statistics such as Release Scorecards, Package reports, etc
Assist in development; maintenance and distribution of training and documentation for release SDLC product lines
Assist with enforcing SOP/ documentation / spec maintenance as instructed by the SCM Manager
Work with functional management to develop enhancements to system-specific procedures and automation which will make the division operations more efficient and streamlined
Submit technical spec requests to apps development for identifying enhancements to system-specific procedures
Responsible for the creation of project production release implementations
Assist with special tasks / projects as needed and/or assigned by SCM Management
Looks like the job entails packing up their software for tomcat deployment and doing some integration/scripting/documentation work.
