A 9 mile hike at a fast pace with seemingly endless hills - equivalent to HFH Level 5

Limit: (waiting list available)
Difficulty: Very Strenuous
Pace: Pretty Fast (3 mph)
Distance: 9 miles
Duration: 3+ hrs
Why: To go for a long walk in the woods
Route: Welcome Center to the Yost Area via the connector, around the Yost loop, then back the way we came
Maps: Horine Area ; Paul Yost Area
What to bring: Water, snacks if you want them
Pets: Dogs, cats and hamsters are welcome if they're used to walking long distances
Special Considerations: Steep hills, rocky/uneven terrain, briars. Slight chance of a tick or skunk. No poison ivy, no poisonous snakes.
Regroup procedures: We will regroup as necessary or hike together, depending on the pace of the participants. No one will be left to finish on their own.
