Hi, I'm an atheist in Atlanta GA and just joined the group to spread the voice about the Reason Rally taking place in Washington DC on Sat 3/24 - just in case someone hasn't heard yet.
Here's the link to the website where one can find all the info about the rally:
Here's an excerpt from their "About" page: "What is the Reason Rally? The Reason Rally is a movement-wide event sponsored by the country’s major secular organizations. The intent is to unify, energize, and embolden secular people nationwide, while dispelling the negative opinions held by so much of American society… and having a damn good time doing it!"

There are buses taking people to the rally and back, leaving from major cities in the US. Here's the link for the Charleston area bus, it leaves Fri 3/23 at 10.25pm and gets back Sun 3/25 at 4.34am: Charleston Bus
It's now 110 a person, but they're currently offering a 50 percent discount: Bus Discount
Hope you can all make it!

A sample of speakers at the rally: Richard Dawkins, PZ Myers, James Randi, Lawrence Krauss.
Listed sponsors: American Atheists, American Humanist Association, Atheist Alliance of America, Camp Quest, Center for Inquiry, Foundation Beyond Belief, Freedom From Religion Foundation, Freethought Society, Military Association of Atheists and Freethinkers, National Atheist Party, Secular Coalition for America, Secular Student Alliance, Society for Humanistic Judaism, Stiefel Freethought Foundation, The Brights, The James Randi Educational Foundation, The Richard Dawkins Foundation, United COR, Washington Area Secular Humanists.
