OSM Building Hackathon

Calling all cartographers, mappers, and general carto nerds! We need your help adding more building footprints to OpenStreetMap.

This is kind of sad. We will be having an OpenStreetMap Editing Hackathon to add more building footprints for Bend into OSM. Why? We can start to do all kinds of great things once we have a more complete building dataset:

• Solar Rooftop Analysis

• Custom Cartography

• City Growth, and more

This meetup is for ANYONE, just bring a computer. We will put you to work and you will have fun!

NOTE: Mcmenamins (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=700%20Northwest%20Bond%20Street%2C%20Bend%2C%20OR) has told us that we cannot exclusively use the Smoke Room unless we have 20 confirmed. We may change the venue.
