If you are homeschooling in Marin County and it's surrounding areas, or considering it, this is a way to connect with other families for information, support, and activities. Members have many resources available to them -- a current family roster, an in-depth message board with forums regarding several topics, and a calendar filled with field trips, classes, social gatherings and other events. We are a diverse group and welcoming of all families, regardless of homeschooling style, and we do not favor one method, philosophy, or religion. We have many different structures and beliefs, and all are respected.

In an effort to ensure privacy and safety for our families, anyone seeking to join must first attend one of our weekly park days or contact one of our Organizers by phone.  We would love for you to be a part of our vibrant and growing community!

To complete the approval process, please:

1.) First, send an email to an Organizer stating your interest. We will let you know when the next park day (or other group event) is scheduled so that members can meet you. If the schedule absolutely can't work for you, an Organizer is also happy to chat with you on the phone.

2) AFTER attending a park day (or other event,) and/or speaking on the phone with an Organizer, submit your membership application. It asks which event you attended so that we can "close the loop" on your approval.

We welcome new families, committed to or even just interested in homeschooling. These procedures are designed for the security of all of our children, including yours.

 
**Please note that membership to this group is for FAMILIES who are considering or currently homeschooling their children.  Vendors' inquiries, including those from teachers and other providers of services, events, activities, etc. should be made directly to the organizers.  If you have information about a service or product that you think would interest the homeschool community, we're glad to provide that information to our members.  Please send us a brief description (not PDF) that we can cut and paste for members to view.  Links to web sites and other contact information are appreciated.**
