Learn to identify some common and less common ferns along the Gunpowder River just north of Perry Hall. We should see close to 20 species. We'll explore three different areas that are located along two paths that are about one mile each. Both paths are flat, with easy walking and only a few small stream crossings. It could be muddy after a rain.
This walk is jointly sponsored with the Maryland Native Plant Society.
