The Mastertalker Club brings English language learners across Melbourne together and helps them use English in interactive, enjoyable and real-life environments.
We have two events every month:
1. A workshop that helps members practise and develop their English and communication skills.
2. A social event, which is informal and includes bbqs, picnics, dinners, going to the movies, meeting at cafes, dancing, enjoying festivals and other social occasions.
There is a membership fee of $20 for one year and workshops cost $5.
English learners of all levels of ability are welcome, from beginners to advanced speakers. Native speakers are also welcome to join if they are interested in helping learners practise and develop their skills.
The International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS) is the world's leading test for English for higher education, immigration and employment. Over 1.2 million candidates take the test each year, which is recognised by more than 6000 institutions across 120 countries. (Source: www.ielts.org).
For this workshop we will have a guest presenter, Ferren Tao. Read more
