Socializing is important to dogs and dog owners alike! One of the best ways for dogs to socialize is to go on buddy walks together. This gives them a shared purpose: the hunt!

MayDOG is the Maynard Dog Owners Group, a non-profit 501c3 corporation founded in September 2008 to promote responsible dog ownership and build community through safe, legal off-leash recreation in Maynard, MA and the surrounding areas. We are currently advocating for part of a former landfill on Waltham St. to be converted to a multi-use recreation area, including a fenced dog park.

While we work on getting our dog park built, we are also sponsoring dog-related events. The MayDOG Walking Group fills the need for dog owners and their dogs to socialize in a safe, fun way on a regular basis. Join us!
