Over the past decade Michael has served on some of the city and state's most important advisory groups, commissions, and campaigns - chosen by mayors and other elected leaders to help solve Seattle's most urgent needs: reliable transit, more parks, better streets, more housing, saving Puget Sound, fighting global warming.
But Michael doesn't just talk about the problems we face; he is a leader who organizes citizens and fights for real change. He most recently co-founded and was executive director of Great City, a nonprofit organization that brings together neighbors, environmentalists, and business leaders. Under his leadership, Great City coordinated the Green Legacy Coalition, which urged the City Council to make new investments in our parks and green spaces.
That's why Michael McGinn wants to meet you and make you part of this volunteer-powered campaign. Join up, and check in often for chances to meet Mike and to help get him elected!
