QUARTER STEERS from SPRING LAKE - SUMMER GRASS

The farmers just got 2 steers back from the butcher.
They were both slaughtered the 2nd/3rd week in July and butchered last/two weeks ago. They got plenty of lush summer grass which usually makes the most tender tasting beef.

There are 3 available:

Each steer has an even mix of roasts, ground, steaks, stew meat, bones, organs, etc. This steer had about a 70% yield. It was slaughtered in mid July and butchered a week ago. This means it had a lot of lush green summer grass to snack on. Which means the meat will be very delicious and tender, based on my experiences.

The cost is $5.65/lb  for the first steer and $5.73/lb for the 2nd steer plus $5 meetup fee. If you would like delivery, add $16. In order to avoid  excessive PayPal fees, make a PERSONAL PayPal payment to me at [masked]. If you do not do a personal transfer, payPal fees will be taken out and I will have to charge them to you before picking up your steer.

Pick up will be at my apartment at 68 W 13th St . Delivery is available for an additional $16.

#644 [masked] lbs -$435.42
#[masked] lbs - $433.84
#[masked] lbs - $425.25

Please let me know your top choices. The person who pays first will get the first choice. So please pay for the most expensive of your three choices. I will refund you any excess within 48 hours of pick up.

If you RSVP, but do not paypal me, than you will not get a 1/4 steer.  I NEED ALL ORDERS BY 10AM at September 9th!!!

    Is there an inventory?

    • michael s

      Evelyn, I will ask.
In general, Jeanne and I try to ask for each box to be equal in value. the whole animal shares tend to be quite evenly spread out

I don't understand what's happening here. Is there extra steer? There are a couple of date listed. One has already passed.
