Pride in Truth: A Conversation on Love, Identity, and Soul Freedom
Featuring Prince Manvendra Singh Gohil & Prince DeAndre Richardson In conversation with Sister Dr. Jenna for World Pride 2025 at the Meditation Museum.Special Guest, Montgomery County Councilmember Evan Glass
In times when the right to be oneself can feel fragile, the courage to live your truth becomes a revolutionary act of love.
During Pride Week, the Meditation Museum warmly welcomes Prince Manvendra Singh Gohil of the Rajpipla Dynasty, the world’s first openly gay royal from India, and his husband Prince DeAndre Richardson, Duke of Hanumanteshwar, for a soul-stirring evening of conversation, reflection, and deep inspiration with Sister Dr. Jenna.
Together, they will explore the journey of embracing one’s identity, breaking free from cultural constraints, and finding profound purpose in the face of adversity. With wisdom, humor, and heartfelt truth, they’ll share how love—when rooted in authenticity—becomes a force of transformation, healing, and unity.
We are also honored to be joined by Montgomery County Councilmember Evan Glass, the first openly LGBTQ+ individual to serve on the Council and in this role. Now in his second term, Councilmember Glass is Chair of the Transportation & Environment Committee and a member of the Economic Development Committee.
Prince Gohil and Prince Richardson have dedicated their lives to championing dignity, justice, and equality for LGBTQ+ communities worldwide. Their efforts, which helped spark the movement to decriminalize homosexuality in India, have never been solely about visibility—they’ve always been rooted in transformation and lasting change.
This gathering is a celebration of the human spirit’s capacity to rise, to love freely, and to stand proudly in truth—regardless of the shifting tides of the world around us.
Whether you are part of the LGBTQ+ community, a spiritual seeker, or an ally for justice and love, this event will nourish the soul and remind us all: There is no freedom greater than being who you truly are.
This program will also feature a special book signing for Prince Gohil and Prince Richardson's new release, A Royal Commitment: Ten Years of Marriage & Activism.
Tuesday, June 3rd, 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Held at the Meditation Museum, 9525 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD. Free Event – Register at www.meditationmuseum.org.
