Thank you for your interest in my group.
My name is Kristina and I am a real estate agent who loves art - paintings, sculpture, etc. I love it all.
If you enjoy art galleries, etc. and would you like to meet other people with your same interest, this is the group for you.
You don't have to be an art aficionado to join our group, only someone who enjoys art and would like to see more of it.
We live in a great area for a group like this and you can expect to see events planned in Sarasota, Venice, Bradenton and beyond.
I am keeping each Meetup for this group limited to a small group size. For one thing, many of the venues/exhibits are better suited to smaller groups. The other reason is that I want to get to know people and I find smaller groups are generally more conducive to that.
Again, because of the high interest in this group and the fact that our scheduled meetups have members on a waiting list I will not allowing members to bring a +1. The meetup spots are reserved for group members.
No Show Policy:
If you are on the waiting list, you may end up getting moved to the "GOING" column very close to the event day. If you are no longer able to attend, just switch your RSVP to a NO.
It is your responsibility to monitor your spot on the waiting list, and it's your responsibility to update your RSVP.
I love leading this group, but please remember, I still work and my time is quite limited so I am not going to act as the secretary updating your RSVP.
I am going to start adhering more closely to the No Show policy because we have so many people waiting to join the group.
In case you don't know:
1st No Show - I will follow-up with message asking if you were okay.
2nd No Show - You will be removed from the group. You can always rejoin group at a later time when there is a spot available.
I also reserve the right to remove you from the group if you regularly have "last-minute" cancellations. I understand things come up but if it's a pattern I will just assume our schedule does not work for you and I will make room for someone else. Of course, you can always re-join the group at a later date once there is a spot for you.
Also, you are required to post a photo of yourself when you join our group.
