Building an OpenStack Cloud - UPDATED

We will have a demonstration computer ready to go so that you can follow along.

If you would like to build an OpenStack Cloud on your computer, please ensure that you have Ubuntu 12 or Fedora 16 pre-installed on your laptop.

Our plan is to get an OpenStack Cloud up and running and go through its basic operations.   Also we plan on setting the topics for our up coming Group meetings.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again.   This will be another excellent session.

Is there any kind of recording and/or replay available of this ? I was too late to attend, but would love to have some help with installing my very first OpenStack cloud on my notebook.

Thank-you for all. I was glad to see you guys and learn some of the hicups you get while installing it. Also happy to report that my first install is up and running. I will definitely come back.

Overall a good night. A couple of technical hangups in the presentation, but a lot of great questions, and an awesome amount of knowledge sharing from a few veterans. Thanks all!

Great meeting, TYPICAL Openstack....even with DevStack some of the builds were completed some had issues; which allowed for some interactive problem solving. Over all a great meeting, many experiences shared by our more technical members. I was great to see allot of new faces excited about bringing OpenStack to their organizations and sharpening their skills. Pretty cool.

Hi Steven, I'm really curious about your build, but I'm out here on the west coast. If you're building a cloud on someone's screen would you consider sharing the screen via Google Hangout, Skype or something like screenleap.com, so I could join you guys remotely?
