Beacon, Probe and Shovel - Avalanche Rescue Practice

Join for an Avalanche Rescue Practice Session. We will bury our beacons and some backpacks, search for them, probe and shovel them out.

This will be the first in a series of Back Country Discussion and Practices Sessions. If you have a topic or skill you are interested in learning about or practicing, please send us a request/suggestion.

The series will be lead by "Mount Hammerscotch", avid back country skier with 20 years of experience.
