Request Parameters

At least one of the required parameter(s) must be supplied with the request. Answers to questions are expected to follow the naming convention: answer_{question_id}=myanswer when joining with the Profile Create method.

category_id

Only return groups in the specified category. [one category allowed]

country, city, state

A valid country code, city and for the US, State. limits the returned groups to those within radius miles

domain

one or more custom group domains, separated by commas

optional result fields, separated by commas.

A valid latitude and longitude, limits the returned groups to those within radius miles

If the group requires membership dues, this field will include the authenticated member's dues info

cancelled

For groups with recurring billing periods, this Boolean field indicates that membership dues were cancelled

exempt

For groups with recurring billing periods, this Boolean field indicates that the member is exempt from payment.

paid_until

For groups with recurring billing periods, this returns the time in milliseconds since the epoch that the member's next payment is due

period_status

For groups with recurring billing periods, this returns one of the following values grace, paid, pending, unpaid

Total amount paid

transaction_time

Time the transaction was made in milliseconds since the epoch

trial

If the group offers a trial membership, this indicates information for unpaid members.

role

Member's role in group, if any: Organizer, Assistant Organizer, Event Organizer, etc.

status

Optional fields property returned when 'self_status' is provided. Indicates the authorized user's membership with this group. Value may be one of pending, active, blocked, pending_payment or none

visited

Member's last visit to the group site, in milliseconds since the epoch

Optional field, a shorted URL for the group

similar_groups

List of similar groups, best suited for the authorized member when a single group is queried for. Note: this field is being deprecated in favor of making a separate request to /:urlname/similar_groups/
