Meetup Bern follows the guidelines of Meetup.com ... "we believe that real-life community is really, really important. When people come together, they create new possibilities for each other. Ideas spread, networks form, movements start. At its simplest, life is just better when you have people to enjoy it with.
Meetup exists to help people grow into the people they want to be and live happy and fulfilling lives by finding the communities that will help them thrive."
Meetup Bern is an inclusive group where organizers create events that all members are welcome to attend. Some groups may have a size limit and in certain instances, such as hiking groups, a specific fitness level may be required to make the event a safe and enjoyable event.

Improv Comedy Show @ the English Speaking Club
English Speaking Club of Bern, Mittelstrasse 55, 3012, Bern, CHJoin Up The Tree, the only English language improv crew in Bern (as far as we known), for a jam session Friday, December 5th, at the English Speaking Club of Bern.
Everything is unwritten; with the audience's input they'll improvise chaotic scenes, epic games and fun skits for everyone to enjoy. And it's a jam, which means that everyone is welcome to join in with the games! (But don't worry - while audience participation is welcome, it's not mandatory.)
Doors open at 8 and the show starts at 8:30.

The trendy Christmas market on Kleine Schanze: this festively decorated Christmas market looks like a little village, with numerous chalets offering seasonal delicacies, hot beverages and products from local designers inviting you to linger and “schnöigge” (browse). You’ll also come across a large fondue chalet, weather-proof lounges, a children’s area with a merry-go-round, and a fabulous view of the Bundeshaus (Parliament Building). The entire market is cashless; you can pay by card or Twint (a Swiss mobile payment app)
