Melbourne Single Catholics also hosts talks on various topics which may be of interest to catholics such as: anullments, bioethics ( e.g. abortion, euthanasia), sexuality, politics, social justice etc. DO NOT JOIN IF YOU ARE GOING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE TALKS. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO ATTEND THE TALKS NOONE IS FORCING YOU TO ATTEND!!!
Speakers will be orthodox Catholics. However, you do not have to accept every teaching of the Catholic Church to be part of the group.
Membership is open to non-Catholics. We are delighted have a few 'honorary' catholics in our ranks, as long as they can tolerate being surrounded by Catholics and don't get distressed by our lecture topics/content.

There is no charge to join. However, you must pay your costs associated with any activity you attend. FROM 1st JANUARY 2010 , THOSE ATTENDING EVENTS MUST GIVE A $2 DONATION TOWARDS THE RUNNING COSTS OF MSC ( ADVERTISING, WEBSITE COSTS), FOR EACH EVENT THEY ATTEND.
